Services We Provide
Our Nursing Team are available for blood test, cervical smears, immunisation and blood pressure checks. The nurses are also involved in various clinics for health checks and chronic disease management.
Clinical Lead Nurse
Our Clinical Lead Nurse is able to diagnose, treat and prescribe for certain conditions e.g. sore throat and chest infections:
- ENT problems
- Respiratory problems
- Urinary tract infections
- Abdominal pains
- Rashes
Our Lead Nurse can provide home visits and visit nursing homes.
Clinical Specialist Physiotherapist
Our Clinical Specialist Physiotherapist is able to assess and diagnose conditions affecting muscles, bones and joints.
In partnership with the patient, the physiotherapist will put together a treatment plan and refer on to other professionals/services if appropriate.
Independent Prescribing Pharmacist
Our Pharmacist is an expert in medicines and is able to help alleviate any concerns you may have about your medication, e.g. side-effects or trouble taking your medication.
She will also be able to see you for your annual medication review, and help you manage chronic conditions.

Lifestyle
Our Nurses can give advice on smoking, weight, exercise, diet and alcohol.
Minor Surgery
Minor surgery is available by prior arrangement. Please discuss this with your doctor.
Child Vaccination Clinics
Our Practice Nurses hold these clinics please contact your local practice for days and times
Adult Immunisation
If you need to have preventative immunisations for tetanus or polio please make an appointment with our practice nurses.
Travel Vaccinations
Our practice nurses are available by appointment to offer medical advice regarding travel and vaccinations where appropriate. Please plan ahead – do not leave your vaccinations until the last minute.
Flu Vaccinations
Each winter commencing the beginning of October the practice runs a flu immunisation clinic at all surgeries. For further information please ask the practice nurse or receptionist.
Cervical Smears
You will be sent a reminder when your smear test is due, but if in doubt please ask at reception.
